When living in the Sun Belt gets us down, we run to the mountains, specifically our Bear Crossing home in Winter Park, Colorado, to cool off, relax and delight in the wonders of Alpine nature in all it's forms. Bear Crossing is truly our personal Eden where body and soul gets refreshed and rejuvenated. Our whole family enjoys the glories of the mountains.

We really love the place – we don't get out early to ski or bike because we'd rather just hang out at the house. Our Bear Crossing home is extremely well-built, so much so that our heating bills are much lower than we would have expected.

Wind rustling through the leaves, the hummingbirds and the train whistle off in the distance - these are the only sounds we hear. We love our home because it's so peaceful and quiet.
